Why See Odesza?
SEATTLE's ELECTRONICA Duo
Seattle-based electronic music pair Odesza was formed in 2012 whilst members Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight were about to graduate from Western Washington University. Their debut album, Summer's Gone, was released in the same year to celebrated acclaim in the underground electronic music scene. They followed up this success with their first EP in 2013 entitled, My Friends Never Die, followed by their second LP, In Return, in 2014, showing that these guys are one of the hardest working electronic acts in America.
The strange name was taken from a ship owned by Mill's uncle that sank; only two crew members survived, including Mill's uncle; they opted for the Hungarian spelling as there was a Scottish band named Odessa. 2017 sees the duo touring their as yet untitled third album! catch them when they hit Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, Closed May 28, 2017.
