There will be masterful crossover performances of pieces by Thile's band Punch Brothers arranged for orchestra, as well as works from his solo repertoire, but that's not all.

An exhilarating pair of violin concertos will see Thile's mandolin replicate the parts of the first violin, in one-of-a-kind renditions of Bach's Concerto for Two Violins in D Minor (known as the Double Violin Concerto) and Samuel Barber's 1939 Violin Concerto.
