An extraordinary reimagining of Lewis Carroll's seminal work, Alice in Wonderland is set for the Denver stage this spring. The much beloved Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was published in 1865 by then Oxford University Mathematics Lecturer Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known as Lewis Carroll. The story became one of the key examples of the Literary Nonsense genre. In the novel, a young girl Alice falls through a rabbit hole into a fantastical and surreal world filled with anthropomorphic creatures, a tempestuous queen, and all kinds of magical oddities.
